Question Lift Kit Opinions Needed!!!!

I know there are a lot of threads already about lifts but i wanna open this one up
to hear people's opinions on Rough Country 2.5" coil lift with shocks and
Teraflex 2.5" coil lift with shocks. I'd like to hear the good and the bad about both please, because I and from what i've read many others, have had trouble choosing.

One issue ive seen so far with the RC is the compression of the coils, is that a frequent occurrence? Also is that something I should expect if Im planning on installing a Mopar off-road bumper with probably a warn m8000?

Opinions would be a big help, thx!!!!!

That means a grand total of 0 for the RC kit at this time.

Comparing the RC kit to the TF kit is like comparing a Suzuki Samurai to a TJ.

No one will fault you if you can only afford the Samurai, but ...

Go figure, one of the most predictable results of a poll in this forum. Something that would be more telling would have been if the RC lift was replaced by OME.

I've got the Teraflex coil lift with shock adapters and so far, it's like a factory lift. The fit and function have both been great.

You are really not comparing apples with apples here... I had RC coil lift and its worth 329$, not a penny more, I just got OME coil lift to replace the RC and Its worth doubles or more the $$$$. Do yourself a favor, spend more and get the teraflex if RC and Tera are your two final choices......

I`ve never seen a bad review on any tera lifts, But seen a lot on RC.

And one last thing, you are from Quebec like me, RC shocks really don`t like the cold... they get very stiff so at -10 or under its like having no shocks at all....

I`m not saying RC his crap, its worth what you pay for....

Agree these two lifts really are not comparable especially with some of the problems RC has had (granted I have heard they have fixed them).

I just put my first 100 or so miles on the TF 2.5" Coil lift with adapters. It's easily as good or better than stock. And I was trying to find bumps to hit just to see!

I'm considering a 2.5 coil lift with adapters and later adding OME shocks. I may also just add a leveling kit.

Like another poster said RC is working on fixing the compresion issue with their rear coils, and most that have the RC lift like it, but the Tera lift is more complete and fewer issues have been seen.
