Lift Kit + Tires/Wheels
Looking to beef up my 2008 JK X and would like some advice. This jeep will be primarily a family/on-road use given that I live in Chicago. I'd like to put 35s on her and would like some recommendations.
For lift: looking at full traction premium plus SRS Tires: BFG 35x12.5x15 Wheels: 15x8 MB72 Questions: Would I need to add anything else to accomodate for the larger tires and lift? Would you recommend this setup? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Ryan |
thanks for the info, ludski!
After thinking it thru, I actually decided to pass on the lift and bought a 2012 Rubicon instead :) I had a very bare JKU and figured to get it where I wanted it, that buying the 2012 Rubi would get me about 90% of the way there. Also didn't hurt that the dealer gave me $1000 less for my old JKU than what I paid for it new in 2008! |
