Lift question

So I have an 08 4 door Sahara, and a buddy of mine has a TJ. The TJ has a 2.5 inch lift and it sits at the same height as my stock JK. If I got a 2.5" lift would mine then sit 2.5" higher than My buddy's Tj?

A 2" spacer lift will lift exactly 2" over what you have now. With a spring lift, it depends on vehicle weight an spring rates, but the lift is generally as advertised or slightly more.

I'm thinking of going with the RC BB 2.5"
