Default Limited Slip and gear ration...

Hey guys,

Sorry again for kicking a dead horse...

But is there any relation between what gears came with my X if I got the limited slip rear end?

I bought a set of 4.10's for my rear dana 44, but I'm sure I read on here that people got 4.10's when they got the limited slip. If that is the case, would I have gotten 4.10's in the front diff as well...

Sorry if this is a really newb question...just never played with gearing before. Thanks.

I have an '07.

I know it came with a Dana 44...but did they include 4.10's also? Just making sure. That would explain why I didn't notice too much power loss when I went to 33's then!

2007 ...4.10 was an option...and if you have the tow package 4.10 were standard!!

I do believe that the LSD automatically got you 4.10 instead of 3.21... Additionally (and most newer forum members don't know this) most 2007 automatics automatically (no pun intended) got 4.10 gearing, tow package or not...

I have an 08 X w/6 speed and it came w/3.21. Some guys have posted that they haven't noticed much loss in power with 33" tires, but if you're going to tow, you'll probably want to regear.

This is true according to my dealer. (and made me feel a little better about the auto) I have an auto/no tow package and 4.10s. No charge on the sticker for the gearing.
