Default little mod after rock sliders

Ok so after installed my shrockworks rock sliders I noticed a little area below the door looked odd. Before this area was covered up by the stock rails. I decided to paint the area black.

First I went out and got some textured black spray paint, 100 grit sand paper and a roll of painters tape.

This is what happened next.

and the before and after pics...

Looks great!! How much do you want for your Rubi "sliders"

Also, how much drilling did your new instal require?

Awesome! I didn't like the looks of the exposed silver pinch seam either. One of the reasons I ended up buying the plastic step rails.

That looks good. I always thought it looked unfinished down there.
