Default Lockers ?

I had my ARB lockers installed. The installer was telling me how I need to have my rear lockers on before my fronts will be allowed to turn on. BUT he could install a jumper so I could engage the front only.
My question is,,, should I do that? Any advantage,,, disadvantage?

He should be wiring it up so you can turn each one on and off independently of each other. Anything else would be silly.

If you do any wheeling in the snow there is a good reason to have the front engageable without the rear being on. By locking the front and leaving the rear open it turns a lot better in the snow.
