Default Lockers

I have a 2007 Wrangler Unlimited X 4X4 and I want to put a locker on the rear but I need to know if it has a 30 or 35 slide gear spline so I know which one to order. Hope I'm asking this question right.

If it's a stock X it will have 30 spline rears.

If you're putting in a rear locker you could upgrade the shafts to 35 spline & get a locker to match.

Send your VIN in and get the build sheet - a small number of 07's came with rear D35's. You kinda want to know that before you order parts. Also in 07, I believe some non-rubicons were equipped with rubicon axles and 4.10 gears. (then again, you would already have a locker, so you can probably disregard this...)

Anyway, IF you have non-rubicon rear d44, you have 30 spline shafts. IF you have a rubicon rear d44, you have 32 spline shafts. And IF you have a d35, no clue what spline shafts you have. Get rid of it, there should be a bunch of take-off rear 44's available for cheap.

Thanks for your help. I do have a D44, 4.10 Axle Ratio that came with my stock (non Rubicon) Jeep.
