Lockers
Can you install a automatic locker like Yukon Surgrip Detroit Truettac in the rear of a 2014 JK with automatic transmission. I have read that it will cause the transmission to go into limp mode

Personally i would go with a selectable locker in the rear. Ever time you sharp turn you will get some tire screech, typically the limp mode is caused by the gear change and them not telling the Jeep. Most people i have talked to that did a autolocker ended up going to a selectable. So save some money and go the selectable the first time.

Are you asking about lockers or limited slip differentials (Truetrac is limited slip)? Below are a couple threads on the topic. Looks to be kind of old though.

The truetrac is a mechanical limited slip that does not use clutch packs. I have them installed front and rear on my 13 JKU with auto. I have had zero issues with daily driving and they have worked quite well in snow and sugar sand we have in NJ.
