I would venture to guess, if you come out and your wheels are gone, you have slightly larger issues than a few broken studs to contend with.

and like a lot of others said, I run them to keep casual thiefs from snatching mine. Hopefully they will move on to an easier target.

I would def get them. I bought a set of gorilla locking lug nuts for my stock sahara rims, and recently when I got my new rims and tires they sent me another set of locking lug nuts (mr lug nut), so im gonna have 2 locking lugnuts on each rim and one on the spare. They are made so that they are round all the way to the bottom where the key makes contact. SO I would think it would be pretty hard to take off a stud.

doesnt really slow them down... sockets or vice grips gets them off lickity split. plus they get clogged with mud, making them a PITA to remove on the trail

I have the gorilla lugs and love em. Easy to remove (with the key socket) and even on the trail its no biggy. The added security, even if it doesnt stop thieves, at least makes me feel better about them. I think when I bought my wheels from 4WD that I paid like 10-15 bucks to upgrade to locking lug nuts.

You can use locking lugnuts to bolt down your winch.
