Which AT?? Made in the USA (sold at Discount Tire)

OK
Have the BFG MT on my Rubi now.
I did not rotate them as I should and need new tires.
I do not need an MT (love the aggressive look) but as I am never
really off road and the limited time I am I figure might as well go with
an AT to cut road nice, improve road ride. to get max life and as I can benefit from it over a MT here in Michigan due to the rain/ice/snow.

I was all set on the BFG AT

BUT

They are not made in America.

In this economy and political climate I am not sending my money to France.

What do you guys suggest I look at? I want 33's (yes, I am sure I do not want 35's thank you). I want aggressive looks, long life, low road noise and swow/rain/ice handling.

I also want to buy from Discount Tire, they are all over by me and that with their warranty will make it easier for me to actually get them rotated etc.

Thanks!!!!

You might check out the Dick Cepek FC II. I'm waffling between purchasing 33" ATs or MTs myself. If I do go for ATs I plan to go with the FC II, based on the good reviews they've gotten here, and their capabilities for mostly on-road driving with CO winters in mind.

Bridgestone Dueler REVOs are a nice tire. Firestone Destination AT.

Interco makes a great tire and they're born and raised in Louisiana. I recommend the TrXuS STS.

Goodyear Duratrac's all the way. I love them. Very aggresive looking, great riding and they're an AT. The best of all worlds. I picked mine up from Discount Tires as well.

The Duratrac really intersts me
I just wish it wasn't so new and there were some long term
reports on them

I understand your hesitation, but Goodyear makes them. Some people will say they've had bad experiences with a certain tire companies, but all in all Goodyear makes quality products for a good price.

I have no doubt about GoodYear tires and their quality
Its just that it is a new tire, its not proven yet so who knows
how well they will wear in the real world.

Being GoodYear it should be great but just a lot of coin to spend
so I am being careful. I will tell you that so far it is my top choice!

I had Bridgestone Dueler REVO's on my TJ. Nice quiet tire, wore well, was great in the snow and rain. Good tire for not too much money.

:2thumbs: I love mine! Aggressive looks, too, for an AT (and these are 33s x 10.5s):
