Redneck, your jeep sounds good man From your sound clip, I think yours is louder than my set up, or I am just used to mine now.
That's right.....and to clarify, I didn't say there was a THING wrong with the ready made systems. They are quite nice and some are very reasonable. I recommend MBRP products, as I've used their exhaust before, just not on a Jeep. Top notch stuff.

Thanks for the kind words. I thought mine was gonna be too loud at first, but now that I've driven it a while, I really like it a lot.

I have a Magnaflow catback and am very happy with it.

1. No drone
2. Slightly louder than stock, but still pretty quiet
3. No noticeable MPG improvement
4. No noticeable power gain (even with CAI)
5. I paid about $500 w/installation

I have it and am happy with it, I bought the 4wd stainless exhaust which is advertised as being made by magnaflow. Guess what, when I took it out of the box 4wd box it was a true Magnaflow product, the muffler has magnaflow stamped into it and Magnaflow is laser etched into the tip, and the best part it was only $349.99.

I got the Magnaflow as my first mod back in '07. Put it on myself, good fit, good build quality, love the sound. I felt like it gave me a low end power improvement. Never put it on a machine though. I think it is a great product and would highly recommend it.

Redneck your JK sounds great! Unfortunately, I would have to travel about 2 hours to find any custom exhaust shop.

Look forward to you coming out here, hopefully this summer......we will take you to a few good spots for sure.....maybe try and plan for the Whipsaw trip?

good luck

Steve
I got quoted $815.00 CDN install and Taxes....way to steep! I will have to give Killer customs and call and let them give me a quote.

I would like to plan for the Whipsaw trip....just have to check the busy schedule this summer.

Wow, the price went up, maybe because our dollar is so crap right now they are trying to charge more....

Ask for "Blake" (owner of Killer Customs) and tell him that Steve Matte with the redrock 4dr Rubicon from Whistler sent you.....I will try to find my records to get the exact amount he charged me....He installed a few mods all at once for me a couple years ago....He is a good guy....

Actually, if you ever watched PINKS on Speed, Blake was the Canadian guy on there with the Red Camaro a couple years ago that won against a turbo wagon in Seattle...He was the first Canadian on PINKS and kicked ass too

Cheers

Yeah that is what I am thinking the dollar tanking into the toilet....but I still think it's too steep even if you add 20% onto your price for the dollar drop...but that's Revelstoke....double the price!!!

Thanks for the owner's name of Killer Customs....next week I will give him a call and see what kinda deal he can give me if I go down to the Coast. I think I did see that episode....just need a picture of the car to spark the memory.

I have the MagnaFlow Cat as well, but the RELOCATED VERSION. Picked it up for $300+ and did the install my self...Been happy with the slight performance and the throatier sound...X2 on what 07RubiSteve said on the loudness.....
