What's the best way to measure rear axle to make sure it square with my frame? I notice tonight when I was stuffing the rear tires the passenger side would jam into the pinch seam in the back of the wheel well - but the driver side wouldnt come close to touching it. Is the body an accurate indication?
Maybe this is the cause of my jeep pulling right or left when I accelerate or decelerate?

What does one measure?

I use one of the body mounts and use a laser to measure.

Yeah - I think it's just my body. I just measured like said with a laser and it's within an 1/8. Stupid body!

I used two flat spots that are on the front of the axle. I cant remember exactly where, but there were ones on top and bottom. I was able to measure both and got the same measurement both crossways.

Looks like you're running a lift. Did you get an adjustable rear track bar, or rear track bar relocation brackets installed with the lift? The track bar works to keep the rear axle centered under the Jeep as the axle moves up and down. Running the stock rear track bar geometry with a lift forces the axle to shift to the passenger side.

I completely misread this post this morning. I see you have TF LCA, the lowers are used to shorten or lengthen the wheel base, uppers are used to correct pinion angles. Make sure both arms are the same length if they are adjustable.

I have a full metal cloak lift - the passenger side rear wheel hits the pinch seam when the tire is stuffed but the driver side does not so I thought maybe my rear axle was not square (even though then control arms are the same length.)

After measuring it - the axle does appear to be square. The body is just a little off. Maybe it gets twisted when it's all flexed out?

Anyways - not gonna worry about it. I trimmed the seam

It also has to do with the way the track bar arcs. It doesn't allow the diff to stay perfectly centered in the frame while flexing. Nature of the beast.
