Default Metal Bang on Terra 2.5" BB

Just installed the Terraflex 2.5" BB, and some times with a slight turn of the front wheels, I hear a metal "bang" from the rear passenger tire. Cannot pinpont what's bangging, as the are no "clean spots"...all componets are with the same dirt.

It is not always, and happens so randomly that the only common determinator I've been able to figure out is the slight turn of the wheels.

Anyone has had this happen?

Checked all componets at the 300 mile mark and everything was tight and good.

Are your swaybar links on the inside or outside of the connections?

Good one. This is just what happened to me after I installed my 2" spacer kit. I had a very difficult time getting them back out too. Had to jack it back up and loosen the mounts to get them back out.

I also only heard the bang when turning, luckly I tested before driving and fixed it before taking it on the road.

Thanks for the replies. Links are on the inside, no rubbing on the tires as they do not have any marks!

Did you install wheelspacers? Rear swaybar links mounted on the inside both top and bottom?

Take some pics of both the front and rear suspensions and post them. Just because the noise seems to be coming from the rear doesn't mean that it actually is.

No spacers. Running with stock 18" (Sahara).

Both top and bottom are inside, see pic above.

Thanks for the reply!

I bet your swaybar end is hitting the edge of the wheel. That kit requires either 1.25" wheel spacers or new wheels with 4.5" backspacing.
