Default Metalcloak Rocker Exo Skin

Anyone tried these out? I was pretty set on the Evo skins after my readings, but this is one I haven't heard much about and I am looking for some input. I see they are easily removable for cleaning mud from behind them, however I don't know if I'd like having to remove it every time I wash mud off. I've heard you can just use silicon on the Evo skins, and it will be mostly mud/rock proof from the top which seems like the better route to me.

Opinions?

I'm running them on my 2012 JKU. I haven't sealed mine, though it doesn't sound like a bad idea. There hasn't been any mud or debris getting caught so I might not even bother with it. I have been happy with the quality so far, but haven't put them to the test yet, meaning no hard impacts or scraping.

Can you use the rocker exo skin plates with different flares? Like the bushwacker flats?
