Is your steering wheel centered?

For instance, the road pulling into my driveway has a lot of blacktop patching...it is a little bumpy...when I pull into my driveway doing about 5 mph...I hit the brakes and can feel the ABS kick in. Would the longer brake lines have that affect on the ABS?
Not normal. There are a few things that could be causing it.

1. There could be air in the abs unit. Not uncommon if too much brake fluid leaks during installation. A regular brake bleed won't work. You need to have the dealer bleed them using the star scan tool which cycles the abs to remove air. DO THIS LAST if nothing else works as it can cost $100+.

2. Check and clean your wheel speed sensors and tone rings. I have gotten mud in mine and it caused issues.

3. Use a Procal when getting the steering wheel re-centered. This is a very misunderstood topic. The Procal has a steering wheel centering function. Contrary to popular belief, it is not meant to tell you when it is centered. When the wheel is centered on an alignment rack, the Procal function is used to tell the computer that that point is the new point at which the wheel is centered. Not doing this can cause the calibration in the computer to be off and can cause random application of the ABS and traction control. I'd guess this is your issue as it is fairly common.

Is procal the only one that can do this?

Not sure. It's the one I'm familiar with.

Odd because I have the same lift but actually netted 3.5" from the 2.5" kit and just recentered my steering wheel with the drag link and don't have the same problem. Does it just happen randomly to some people?

It's more that the computer becomes a little uncalibrated. If it's enough, it can cause issues. I have a similar problem from time to time, but I wheel a ton and every time I'm done, my steering wheel is 90* off from center. I don't drive it on the road enough to fix it right.

The abs is connected to the speed sensors. So, either there is an issue with that or the relationship between the sensors and the steering wheel.

Is it definitely the abs going off or the traction control? Guess I should have asked that before. I assumed the it was the traction control.

As mentioned, I would try to bleed the brakes again.

When I installed our lift I left the lines sit open too long and it was a PITA to get the system properly bled again. I went through two large jugs of fluid and was still getting some very small bubbles. Then, I drove it for two days and did it again.... until finally, the fluid ran clear.

In these two days I did have the ABS kick in once...

I have an Interceptor gauge which communicates with the computer through the OBD2 port. It can read steering wheel center. I'm not positive but I believe I checked the reading after I adjusted the drag link and it was right on. I can check tonight if need be. But if that is the case then it suggests a relation between the steering wheel and the clock spring. Once the steering wheel was recentered, it was reading zero. No computer reset required.

However, there's more than one way to skin a cat.

Does traction control light kick on? I just went on a 5 day wheeling trip and my whole system went crazy probably shouldnt have been goin that crazy. When I got done I took it to an alignment shop and it fixed the issues. I also run the bully dog triple gt so i just disabled everything !
