The 6 tons are way taller than 3 tons and I feel far safer. I've done everything under them from axle swaps, t case swaps, to cutting and welding. Honestly, a standard floor jack won't even get the jeep high enough to exceed their height.

Does anyone know the formula to use to accurately adjust my upper control arms on the rear axle?

There's no formula. You set your pinion angle depending on which drive shaft you have.

Yes i have a double cardon driveshaft but need to adjust it just was trying to figure it out the shaft is at z degree the flange is at y degree and my uppers are currently x long how much do I need to extend them for ride height to match the degrees.

Just adjust it so that the driveshaft is almost straight with the pinion with just a slight down angle at the pinion. There are too many variables for an exact measurement that works for everyone.

IIRC, when I did mine I just put a floor jack under the front of the dif, disconnected the uppers, used the jack to position the angle, and then adjusted the arms to fit the holes, making sure they were the same length.

Is anyone here running Rancho RS9000 shocks with their Metalcloak springs? I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on a set of shocks but just wanted to hear some personal experience from some folks

They're too short. Check travel numbers and extended/collapsed lengths.
