Default Mickey thompson tires

My 33" Pro Comp mud terrains are getting close to needing replacing. Actually they are @ close to 30k and still have decent tread but I want bigger.

I am surfing the interweb and came across these Mickey Thompson -Deegan 38 mud terrains for a fair price.

I'm not opposed to buying procomp again but at this price I'm saving nearly 400 on a new set. Anyone have experience with these??Not finding too many useable reviews online..

Not those specifically, but I have run two different sets of other Mickey Thompson tires and both were awesome. MT makes a great tire. If you can score a sweet deal on a set, go for it. Those Deegans look pretty aggressively sweet.

I saw a set of their new tires on a bronco locally a few days ago, in a 35 they were only 240 a piece.

All 5 for 12-13 is a great deal.

No experience with that tire but my Mickey Claws grabbed like crazy and for a mud tire with minimal rotations and maximum miles, they didn't do too bad for life.

Something else to consider is tread depth. The Mickey tires usually come in at 21/32" whereas others measure up to 18/32" when new. More depth on the front end means you'll be able to sell them for more when you change to another new tire.
