Default MidWest - St. Louis Metro - 2013 JKU Sport regear questions

i am from the st. louis metro area and there arent a whole lot of shops around here.....the biggest and most popular shop seems to be one called "Axle Boy." i emailed them and asked for a quote for : 4.56 gears (front/rear) + eaton elockers (front/rear) for 2013 JKU with D30/D44.

this is their quote:

Labor : $1,724.31
Parts : $3,189.34
Sublet : $0.00
$0.00
Supply Charges :
Other Fees :
$49.91
Subtotal : $4,963.56
Sales Tax : $236.85
Total : $5,200.41
Paid : $0.00
Due : $5,200.41

seems really high to me! is it? or am i just gonna have to suck it up and pay them? all my mods so far i have done myself but i dont want to ruin a brand new Jeep cause i tried to save alittle

or should I just look into upgrading complete axles that have everything? if so, what am I looking at for cost on that? I have been trying to research as much as possible but I am confused about all I would need

That is really high.
I just did 4.88 with master install kits, sleeve for d30 and gussets.
True trac lsd for d30 and e locker for rear 44.

Parts I think I paid 600 for gears, 500 for lsd? And 800 for e locker?
Sleeve 100
Gussets 100

I had a buddy do the install but ft wayne indiana was quoted 800 labor.

4.56 are more expensive but they are raping you on parts, labor too.

Thanx for the info...... If you don't mind me asking, Where did you get all of your parts? I'd rather buy the parts myself and then have them installed but I know some places won't do that.

You could buy built Rubicon axles for less than that and then sell your axles. Net cost of about $2k. Regardless, that price quote is crazy high.

are there any shops within 250 mile radius of st. louis area that can help me out with any advice on this? i dont know which way to go.

- i know i want to regear and would like to have lockers also.

- i also know that i need to strengthen the D30 up too

so, should i just sell my whole axles and replace with new ones already built.....or should i just go for the regear and lockers + maybe a gusset for the D30?

if i can get a good deal, i am willing to drive to a good, reputable shop within 250 miles of st. louis area.

trying to keep costs down as much as possible....would really like to not go over $4000 if possible......is that realistic?

any help or suggestions appreciated
