Milestar Patagonia M/T Review

I recently picked up a set of five Milestar Patagonia M/T (37x12.50x17RLT) and have been super impressed. I wanted to write a review for anyone interested in these tires. You can check out my review here: https://jeepinthewest.com/2019/02/05...ia-m-t-review/

What do you think of these tires?

... How much did they pay you to write that review?

But more seriously: how long have you had them?

I've been running some 35" General Grabbers for a while now, and they've been doing alright, but could be better. Would be interested to know if anyone else has experience with the Milestar Patagonia tire? I'm usually wary of the "off brand" tires, especially since it's my daily driver, but this makes them sound pretty damn solid...

Of course, I also don't get into sand/snow/mud much, as most of my wheeling is out here in the arid West, where it's more rock crawling than anything, so maybe my experience would vary...

Hahaha I wish I got paid.

I switched over from the General Grabbers and its a night-and-day difference. My Grabbers did okay in the rocks, but I got into some downright dangerous situations running them in even light snow. Even though my snow driving is probably 1 percent of my total, it helps having the peace of mind.

Running them in the mud is the biggest noticeable difference though. I'd have to go heavy on the gas to get through mud with the Grabbers, and with the Patagonias, I could just crawl through the mud. May be the change from 33s to 37s that made a bit of the differnce, too. :dontknow2:

Must be a LiteBrite fanboi....out pimping the same tire.

Well, they certainly look like a good combination of affordable and aggressive, but that tends to scare me more than anything... How long have you had them for at this point?

Jeep in the West 02-05-2019 10:28 AM

I'm not sure what any of that means, but yes. Haha

Haven't had them for long. I just put them on a couple weeks ago. I just wanted to give my initial thoughts.

Well, went out and looked up some other reviews... seems pretty much everyone is fairly impressed with them. Might definitely be worth a gamble come new-tire-time...
