honestly i guess a 10 ply would be, just more protection which is never a bad thing

My Air Guard uses these on our work trucks for a few years now. ( we have 12 trucks we drive all over the U.S.) Zero problems to date.

Just wanted to chime in with my experience with the Treadwrights.
I ran my last set down close to bald on my old TJ. Aired them down on trails too, never had a problem.
My recent set of 315's have been great also.

Discount immediately recognized them as retreads and wouldn't mount/balance them. A neighborhood place did it no problem...they also mentioned how easy they were to balance.

Good company, great service and in a way it's like recycling...makes me feel "green"

Just went to a hole in the wall tire place mounted them for 50 bucks...but gonna have to adjust air pressure because they are too high im sure....gonna do chalk test when I get home...I will update a little later on down the ride how they hold up as of now I've only driven 30 minutes on them lol good so far lol
