I was low on cash so I had to sell my barely used set of Mickey Thompson MTZ's.

They were full of crud looking rough and the white letters were stained nasty.

I found that a good rinse, then very soapy water with a box of the SOS steel wool cleaning pads worked wonders. The tires looked brand new after a good scrubbing.

Make sure it is the SOS steel wool pads with the soap impregnated into the pad.

I also sprayed some specifically heavy duty cleaner before the scrubbing.

Then a good rinse and rubber conditioner and they should look great.

Eagle One A2Z All Wheel & Tire Cleaner and a hard bristle brush works great. I use that stuff on my tires, wheels, and fenderwells. They still look new after a year of playin in the mud.

X2, it works great with a hard plastic brush so it's not a biggie if you get on the wheels a bit. I spray it on, let it sit for a few seconds and then scrub it off then rinse and its all good time for the dirt again. JOE>
