305/70r17 no lift with little to no fenders
okay guys i did try to search for what exactly im looking for but i was pretty difficult when the search function wont allow forward slashes lol. So i have now resorted to starting a new one for exactly what im looking for. i have a 2017 jku sport with 3.21 gears, i would like to know if anyone is running specifically 305/70r17 with an auto trans and whats your thoughts and mpg like? also i would like to see stock height jku with 305/70r17 and little to no fenders because thats what im going for. And extra points if you somehow have a 17x7 with 3.5bs htat im planning as well haha. going from 3/4 ton diesel trucks to a jeep im lost all over again on picturing what theyll look like and how they fit. thanks!

I have them on my 15 willys. But that said its got 373 gears and a 2.5 lift. Gas mileage dropped 2-3mpg and I did loose some power. I think if I had 3.21s and didn't want to lift id stick with 285 70 17s

I understand what your saying, but i plan to regear eventually and i can put up with it for a little while. they had a set of 33s on it to try and sell with it and they were E rated toyo a/ts and they seemed just fine for me, so the just a little bigger 305 i think i can deal with. I just like the look of that size tire with no lift and i want to see it with narrow or no fenders. eventually ill be putting in either 4.56 or 4.88 gears. but for now i just want to see what ill be dealing with if someone does have that exact gear and tire size and then i want to see what it'll look like.

I would also take a look at the 295/70r17, specifically the trail grappler cause thats about all id place as a second choice to the 305/70r17 ridge grappler

yup i had to think a lot before buying the 305s. Was torn between 295s and 305s just like you. I did go with a lift though so it helped make my decision. So far I really like the 305 ridge grapplers. they did well in the snow and ice and ride pretty good for such a stiff tire. Not bfg at quiet but ALOT quieter then those !!?!>!_! Goodrich mud terrains that came on it.
