The x and Sahara have a 27 spline front d30 and a 30 spline rear d44. Rubicons have a 30 spline front d44 and a 32 spline rear d44.

From what I understand, ony a few very early production JKs have a D35 rear. Unless you own one of those rare first production units you have a D44 rear. A for the spline count on the D35? I have no idea as I have not seen it published anywhere.

Default Dana 35

I ve checked the cover on the axle and it matches the Dana 35. On my window sticker is says New Generation Dana 35 rear axle. I will just keep looking. Thanks youve been very helpful!
