Road Armour bumpers are very popular with guys in the Canadian oil and gas industry. Given the roads that they run (and the fact that there are only 6 or 7 hours of daylight in Northern areas during the winter), the level of protection afforded by a massive hunk of steel like that is a good idea.

If you put it on a 1 ton diesel truck.

That's a little out of place on a Jeep, IMHO.

RA bumpers are great, but their customer service is seriously lacking. There had been multiple reports of people on the FJ forums paying for the bumper and never receiving them. I believe it was due to the increased demand for them after the Transformers movie in conjunction with them relocating from Washington to Texas, but who knows..

Their return policy states that they only refund a small portion of the total price back to the buyer if they do not want the bumper. Since the bumpers were never made, people began demanding their money back but they only received a small fraction of their funds.

Do I like the look? Yes. Would I ever buy a RA product? No, unless it's sitting there in front of me.
