Default Kelly Safari TSR

I'm very happy with my Kelly Safari TSR (315 75R17). Very quiet on road for an aggressive looking all terrain tire. Good on dry pavement, dirt, and wet roads. Havent had a chance with snow yet. Good price in my area. $215.00 mounted and balanced.

My buddy has them on his D-Max Silverado and they are loud as hell on the interstate. They seem to do really well other then that though.

I use Mickey Thompson ATZ and so does one of my buddies. I REALLY like them, I have about 12k miles on them with some hard wheeling with hardly any wear.
My friend was able to get 49k out of his and he wheeled every other weekend! You want go wrong with the MT and mine are not loud. .Click image for larger version

Default AT

I drove BFG ATs before.. very good all around tire, high quality and a good rep.
My next set I am leaning towards GY Duratracs...

BFG AT is riding on the name alone. The tread design is 35 years old. Come ON guys. The tires were great even 5 years ago, but the new hybrid AT trend is pushing the BFG AT to the back of the barn where it should be. Buy tires based on design and functionality.

The Duratracs are in a class of their own here. More tread spacing then Mickey Thompson MTZ. Quieter then any other tire with this amount of tread depth and spacing. More inches of siping then any other MT or aggressive AT on the market.

Its a no brainer.

Duratracs all the way.

As stated above...M/T ATZs are the shit. Got 40k miles out of them and great traction on my 3/4 ton I used to have. Duratracs second.

what about goodyear silent armors?

they will fit my wheels up to a 33" tire. and they show to have decent off road traction and quiet on road manners...

I found this to be helpful...

hxxp://www.offroaders.com/tech/AT-MT-Tires/AT-All_Terrains.htm

There are links to reviews all down the left side...some reviews you have to click on the tire link then click on reviews link to get to the information.

I've got some 35" Duratracs (measure about 34" exactly @ 30psi) and wheeled the crap out of them this weekend at SMORR. They took everything I threw at them, and kept going. Rocks, gravel, boulders, dirt, mud, water crossings...took it all and look no worse for wear, all at 15psi. Really only have good things to say about them so far. Super quiet on the road, and a great price from a performance standpoint. Haven't had them in snow or ice yet, but I am actually looking forward to the winter!
