New AEV CA brackets
Technically, they certainly could correct caster with them. I have no idea whatsoever if AEV chose to do so, but it wouldn't be a big deal to do if they wanted to.
Not to highjack the thread even further but....
For all of the talk of certain brands being overpriced, does the market not correct that? People will buy what they think they can afford for their perceived need. If a vendor is truly overpriced, they will either have to drop prices or go out of business. But if there is a line at the door for their new products (AEV rear bumper, iPad, whatever), who can argue with that? Obviously enough people see the value to keep the lights on there.
This is part of what I like about Jeeps. Wranglers are like Lego's, you can build them exactly the way you want, for whatever your purpose (mall crawling, rock crawling, overlanding, etc...).
Just my 2 cents, but some of the comments and criticism in this thread and others seemed more harsh than constructive.

as far as price point goes, if you think about it, their kit is priced in the ball park of other kits but the way they have been able to do that is to throw in things like cam bolts to keep the over all cost down. this is as opposed to including things like adjustable control arms like other kits have. and, for whatever it's worth, that's fine but when guys like me point this out and recommend that adjustable lower control arms be added to the kit instead, we get attacked and accused of "hating" this company.

This looks really cool, might be the answer some folks have been looking for to correct DW and frontend shudder.

Any AEV reps want to comment? Hope this isn't old news on here.
The bracket has been added to kits already, they claim they are in stock and are listed on the AEV site for $99.00

AEV is not a vendor and can't comment on here, but you can always contct them directly.
This will not correct deathwobble, since taht has to do with side to side movement of the axle, and therfore would fall under the trackbar, or a steering component. This will help with caster. It is a big improvement over cam bolts, and also is a more affordable option than new control arms. Some people are against the lack of adjustabilty, and also the slight loss in clearance they would have if they get this item. I personally haven't had any clearance issues around the front control arm area, but I have had them around the belly of my Jeep, so we must have different wheeling styles, and different areas to wheel.

I just finished the installation of a set of these on my JK. I haven't had a chance to drive it yet, but it was easy to see during the install that AEV did a lot more than just dropping the mounting points for the CA's.
I was doing more work than just these brackets so I had the axle completely drooped...springs loose, and the pinion angle still looked pretty good. The axle swings on an entirely different arc than it did stock. The pinion angle remains very close to ideal as the axle swings down... Their goal being to relieve stress on the stock DS at the t-case.
As AEV has said, this isn't something new, but the others never took full advantage of the possiblities of the drop bracket.
I'm anxious to take it out and see what it's like.
