Noise "not use to ice in the south"
we have been having some pretty serious ice here in Louisiana, ive noticed yesterday while driving my 11 2 door sahara that has rubi suspenion take offs on it that there is a cloaking noise coming from in the rear kind sounds like when a shock is bad and bottoms out, im not use to ice and everything being frozen, those that are use to the ice is this normal??

I get some weird noises when it's brutal cold. If you have ice buildup on the suspension pieces it could add to the noise until it breaks up.

If you are worried about the wheel spacers you better check them out. Can never be too safe.

It's -30 with a couple of feet of snow where I am and I never get any noises. I would check to see if you have any ice build up that might be causing it as it's not normal.

thanks guys!

What you are likely hearing just ice built around some type of moving part, your jeep can handle it fine, mine as always been and we get bitter cold and ice and snow storms up north, your tires are likely harder and louder as well

Oh and just as a FYI, if you start to fishtail( when you slide and your @$$ end slides off center)turn towards slide not away or you will slide worse and do a 360.
