we have been having some pretty serious ice here in Louisiana, ive noticed yesterday while driving my 11 2 door sahara that has rubi suspenion take offs on it that there is a cloaking noise coming from in the rear kind sounds like when a shock is bad and bottoms out, im not use to ice and everything being frozen, those that are use to the ice is this normal??

Are you sure it's not the traction control kicking in? You would see the light go off and on though. Maybe not?

Thanks, but not the traction control. For a minute I was thinking my jack came loose and was moving around in there but wasn't that either. I'm thinking it's just the accumulation of ice under the fender wells etc, it should be melting tomorrow and I'll see if I still hear it.

I live in Biloxi and have the exact same noises. After 30-45 mins of driving it went away. Just wait till in warms up a tad. It will go away. I'm lifted 4" and having the same issues

You're telling me. I couldn't go 10 miles in either direction without being turned around for iced bridges. I've been stuck at home since Monday night!
