I have a Tereflex 2.5 spring lift (but actually got 3" out of it) and don't have any issues with my shafts...yet..lol

The stock shafts are working fine with my 3" lift. I tried a new front ds and had vibrations with it even after adjusting the pinion angle. I ended up with 3 degrees of castor and it still drove fine, but had the vibs. I put the stock shaft back in and all is well. I intend to run the stock shafts until the go bad and then replace them with another good stock shaft. They're cheap and work great until they go. The stock shafts are much more angle forgiving than the double cardon shafts.

Pinion Angle and Rear Drive Shaft is what I was referring to on Drive Shaft Failures.

I run 4.7 Degrees of Castor and it rides like a dream.
