Whats your pinion look like ? Excessive pinion will also cause that.

There wasn’t an explanation, just what was happening...which I already knew. I wanted to know why, as it definitely shouldn’t be doing that. I feel confident that RK would have addressed that if it was an issue in every 2 door JK, seeing as how it’s a major design flaw. Cutting the bumpstop pad doesn’t fix the trackbar rubbing it’s bracket on the axle side. It seems like my rear axle is shifted back about 2 inches. My lower control arms are adjusted all the way in, so there’s no bringing the axle forward.

Sorry for the delay, all of our techs were traveling for off road expo.

It is difficult to see your pinion angle in a photo without the picture being taken looking at the pumpkin with the camera parallel to the axle tube, at this angle it is difficult to tell. What I do see in this photo is that the passenger side spring looks like it isn't straight up and down. That spring along with the other symptoms you've posted leads me to believe your axle is pushed back too far. Can you post a picture of the side of your rig?

Both of my coil springs are at an angle. Your eyes aren’t playing tricks on you! My buddy Jason from 4WheelParts called you guys on Monday to get some feedback about what we were seeing, but everyone was gone for the off road expo. Peanut butter and jealous!

Here are some pics of my jeep, as well as the upper and lower control arms. Click image for larger version

These pics are a little blurry, but my tires tuck nicely with extremely minimal rubbing at full stuff. The rubbing is on the tube of the rear bumper. The contact patch is only about the size of a half dollar.

Yeah, that axle looks a bit far back. Let's verify measurements. Your rear lowers should be 20 1/8" and your rear uppers should be 17 3/4" small adjustments from those measurements are acceptable for pinion angle adjustments.

My rear lower is right at 21" from bolt center to bolt center. I'm adjusted all the way in. My rear upper is around 19 1/4 bolt to bolt, with about a 1/2" adjustment outwards on each end.

Assuming he has the old arms ? My lowers are at 20 1/4. Any further then 20 1/2 plus a 2 door with pinion correction runs into those issues.
