I like it. I bet it works well too. Unorthodox? Maybe in the 4x4 world, but not much different that a torsion bar/damper setup in an open wheel race car (think F1, CART, etc). Same basic concept. Now how much will it cost? I am hoping at or under $1000 for the whole setup including coilovers and skid.

Very interesting and innovative. I would like to see it in person. 14" of travel is a lot.

I tried finding more info on this. I didn't find more than what's here. Is there a genric name for this type of setup? Is this a trail only mod? I only see the back (& not all of that) is there a similar component for the front? Certainly looks interesting.

I find the pics hard to resolve....it appears to be an articulating sub frame assembly...so that the shocks are mounted horizontally, and allow the sub frame to have pivot arms...and yeah, they only show the rear?

I'm thinking these seem to be like the Revolver Shackles of the Coil Over World?

I'd be VERY intrested in better pics/action shots form the upcoming trip.

When's the Write-Up?

I saw it in person a couple weeks back... and I have to say: WOW! It is something that most JK owners won't invest in, but for those who want a rig that can complete any trail, this is definitely something that is required.

14" of travel! That is just plain sick!

Now, we just need Mel to team with Full Traction or Rubicon Express or (insert suspension company here) for the front pieces and you have an incredible setup for your JK right out of the box!

Revolver... I can see that. For me it's a Long Arm Kit without the long arms. It offers an amazing amount of travel, serious valving for the harder hits and longer days on trail, and MUCHO rear protection.

Certainly an interesting design. Gonna be $$$ with the King coil-overs. I'd like to see this thing in action. Nice work Off Road Evolution for thinking outside the box.
