However...you are right in the sense that is is my opinion that the resulting effects will be percieved as being negative. Assuming the full extent of the difference is noticeable, it is conceivable that some people may actually enjoy the extra roll, bouncy and jolty ride quality and bump stop bottoming out. That part is purely subjective.
Yes, in the "technical sense" you are right but so far as I knew, that's not what we were discussing here. What I thought we were discussing was ride quality and how you hated yours.

Just out of curiosity, did you install new shocks with your BB? If so, what kind were they? Also, if you just kept your factory shocks, were they X or Sahara shocks or were they Rubicon shocks. Because you know, I have driven just about every scenario mentioned and can tell you that each will have a different feel to them. What I have been recommending from the start is a 2.5" TeraFlex BB with shock extensions to be used with JYogi's factory Rubicon Shocks. These are high pressure gas charged shocks unlike the X or Sahara or even hydro shocks that you can get with some kits and from experience, can tell him that it will provide a great ride. Do you have experience with this exact setup? Have you tried driving any other BB setup other than the Superlift that you had? Perhaps the lesson to be learned here is to not buy a Superlift BB as IT will give you a ride that is bouncy and jolty.

WOL
K, lets say I go with the Teraflex
Can you tell me exactly what other items to order?
Also, I dont mind spending a little extra for good shocks IF it is going to
be worth it and give me an even better on road ride, if not I will go with your suggestion and stick with the Factory

Nothing. This kit will come with everything you need. As far as new shocks go, I would suggest that you save your money and give the shock extensions a try. If you find that you are wheeling a lot harder and want a little more travel out of your shocks, I'd recommend that you pick up a set of M-Force, Bilsteins or OME's

OK
I am looking at this one then

TeraFlex 2.5" Budget Boost with Shock Adapters that comes with;
* Front and Rear Coil Spacers
* Front and Rear Bump Stops
* Front and Rear Shock Adapters

Ther is that one, the one without shock adapters and the one with shocks.

I did not see any mention of rear brake line extensions and new longer rear sway bar links which you suggested with the BD...

I was looking at Quad..... for the purchase and found that info on their site

You could always call TeraFlex and make sure they come with it.
Mine came with brake line brackets. (ordered from quadratec)
All the new kits are also supposed to come with new rear swaybar links.
Quadratec may not have their site updated.
Mine was an older kit and didn't come with the swaybar links. TeraFlex sent them to me

I have the 2.5" TF and the 3/4" front spacers also. I absolutely LOVE it and would recommend it to anyone. I have the X shocks and the spacers (the sway bar links, and brake line extensions came in the kit) Every JK is different, but I got VERY little axle shift, only about 1/8"-1/4". I unlike someone on here have a much better ride quality. Ride quality is how much you enjoy the ride. I personally enjoy pulling up next to a H3 and looking DOWN at the driver as I pass them. With my stock springs, and stock shocks, and stock everything else, the COG is the only thing not stock. And I like it BETTER than stock. It is a matter of OPINION whether the change in ride quality is better or worse. Mine is better. My wife's is better, my brother's is better, my daughter's is better. Quality of the ride is based on opinion. Sure the quality of your ride changes, but no one person can make the blanket statement that it is worse, or better for everyone.

K great...
I am going to listen to WOL and the majority of you here...

Should I consider a steering stabilizer or anything else at all that could benefit me?
Should I have them put in a front wedge/spacer or whatever its called as I will be putting on a Fab Four Front Bumper with the Warn Powerplant.

Again, this is going on a Unlimited Rubicon.

I want to run 33's and AEV Pintlers 17x8.5 Argent Wheel : 5x5 : +10mm offset

Will I be able to mount the spare on the back door without any problems?

I think everyone will agree that a steering stablilizer at this point in a waste of money and not needed.

If you're putting on the bumper and powerplant I would definitely suggest you put the 3/4" spacer on the front. It's around $30 from quadratec (the skyjacker one). I added it after I put a winch on my factory bumper. The winch alone dropped the front down slightly. The 3/4 spacer evened it back up.

Great!
THANKS TO EVERYONE
For your time and patience!

08 JK Rubi Unlimited W/Tow Kit
2.5 in Teraflex BB (stock shocks I guess)
3/4 Spacer in front.
Olympic Reversa Bars
AEV Pintlers with 33's (still trying to find the most aggressive looking tire but the quietest, I was leaning toward the BFG AT but seems to be lots of other suggestions. This tire is strictly for road use in all weather (rain and snow as well)
New Mats (leaning towards the WeatherTech but still looking at Husky)
MasterCraft 3 in Grab Handles in the front.
Pioneer AVIC 3 (in a mth or two)
Fab Fours Front Bumper with a Warn Powerplant and some other fogs on it (bumper and Winch will come in the spring)

Anything I am missing??? Yes, sorry I am a poser, this is mostly for road use and looks BUT I like knowing I have what I need if I have to get away or off the main roads for some reason and it will be great for hunting.

I have a Rubicon, so no X or Sahara shocks. The issue with shocks ON road is not their length...it is their dampening capability as it relates to the acceleration forces of your vehicle. Making them longer would only affect articulation...to change ride quality you would have to make them stiffer or softer, depending on what you were trying to achieve.

Ride quality issue aside, there is still the vibration issue. Granted, the majority of you seem to have Unlimiteds where that would probably not be an issue, but driveshaft vibrations are likely to manifest with a 2 door, and the only question will be wether you notice it or not. Mine was impossible not to notice, and yes, I did discard the factory isolators (fortunately not into the garbage) so I was not trying to get even more lift out of a BB.

Frankly, I'm astounded that people using 2.5" BBs on 2 door JKs don't report more vibrations, considering you're 1/2" higher than I was. Perhaps it was a fluke with my particular Jeep, but I dont' see how that can be likely. There is nothing wrong with/different about my Rubicon that I am aware of, and removing the lift instantly cured the vibration issue.
