I did order a set of standard duty coils in the first week after installing the HD's. Guess I reacted too fast because I have since decided to stick with the HD's....

Ride after a couple of years
I was wondering how the JKUs with the HD springs and OME shocks are riding after a few years? My suspension is 2.5 years old and it just sways down the road. I have not removed a shock to see if they are shot. There is no oil leaking from the shock.
The springs have not settled with the load I have on the jeep.

I am very happy with my choice after a year with it now.
Ome HD
Bilstein 5100
Aev hi steer kit
Aev control arm brackets
...Need a teraflex rear track bar bracket, and bumpstops.
I also run 275 65 20 Load range E tires and wheels.
My only extra weight is the front bumper, and it is not heavy.
Result- very stiff, very stable, some think it is harsh. It feels like a brand new 3/4 ton truck as far as the suspension goes. Handles great, handles the windy up and down roads here in NH well.
Will admit tho i have thought once or twice about if the MD coils would be just a lil more plush?...
Steering is great, sticks to the road like crazy!
