Agree with what everyone else has said here. I noticed a difference after the Superchips 87 tune-- I wish I had done it sooner, as it will pay for itself in 7 months due to better MPG. Forget the TBS. As for CAI ... I'd never consider one because I want a snorkel. I have heard good things about the MBRP exhaust.

Default Update

Its been a little over 2 weeks since I made this thread with my first post and about 3 weeks since I have owned a Jeep. I just wanted to make an update and report on my first performance mods so far.

Superchips: Bought and installed and have been running for 3-4 days now. Currently running 87 octane setting. Wow, so glad I made this my first mod, you can really feel the increase in hp and torque. Throttle response is better and is a lot more fun to drive now. Has a louder growl to it, too! This one doesn't disappoint.
Paid: $295

MBPR Off Road Exhaust (Ordered): bought the "installer" series aluminized metal...plan on painting it with high heat black before installation. Went with the MBPR system because of the relocation of the muffler and high tuck tailpipe, sounds good, affordable, and a lot of members happily running it.
Paid: $281

AIRAID Cold Air Intake (Ordered): I know a lot of members are against CAI's but I also know a lot of members are running them too. I decided to go ahead and pick one up and got a decent price of the AIRAID. I had heard good things about it and I figured if I have an exhaust that is going to increase flow and decrease pressure then I need to improve the input (air take) side as well to maximize benefits.
Paid: $210

I cannot wait to install the MBPR exhaust and AIRAID cai along with superchips. I am hoping for some more gains in hp, torque, and mpg. I think it will sound really good to, more like a Jeep should. I am planning on running premium gas and changing the superchips to 93 octane setting and really see what my Jeep's got. These next few days are gonna be HARD and will be impatiently waiting...Crazy what a Jeep can do to ya...like a kid on Christamas.
I think this setup is a good start for my performance setup and the next step will be lift and tires when the money comes lol.

Superchips: $295
MBPR Exhaust: $281
AIRAID CAI: $210
TOTAL: $786
