I have 35's on a 3" Suspension.

I haven't had any issues, but when I move to 37's I will do this mod.

Default 35's look dangerously close

Hey guys, I'm runnin 35's on about a 3 in lift on an unlimited. My stock rockers are about 3/4" from rubbing on the back tires. Im worried that when I air down, Ill have some rubbing issues. I think I should cut my stock rockers. Is it necessary to take the rockers off to cut them, or will taking the tires off give me enough room? Thanks to anyone who can help.

your tires get wider when you air down not taller, you are the only one who can answer this quesrion, air down your tires, then get somethign for your back tire to climb, like a oil change ramp or something like that and make one rear tire flex and you will then know what you got to do.

Keep in mind too that you have a four link rear (and front) suspension and when you flex it, it doesn't go straight up, it goes in an arc moving in the aft direction away from this pinch seam. Doesn't mean you still don't need to trim it, but just sayin. I was sure I need to trim mine looking at it, but when I flexed it I was good...only one way to know for sure though
