Default Pinch Welds And 40s

Can I see some pictures of your guys' pinch welds after you have trimmed them. Mainly concerned with guys running 40 inch tires. I have trimmed mine some, but I am still rubbing on the front side of the tires. I'm running Evo long arms with 4in springs. I'm not rubbing the top of the pinch welds or the top of the cut stock fender, just the front side of the tire. I'm either going to cut more, or try to lengthen my four arms to push the axle back three quarters of an inch or so. I have my arms adjusted out more than I would like to the way it is, so I would have to lengthen them. Thanks.

Do you have a picture of what you've trimmed so far?

This should be plenty –

I only have 37s, but trimmed pretty aggressively at the front of the rear wheel well prior to having adjustable arms and being able to scoot the axle back. The picture below is NOT mine, but this is pretty close to what I did as well. I can't imagine trimming much more than that.

Actually, I was out and about today and looked closer at mine. I've trimmed even closer than that previous picture. Tried to take a pic of mine but looks all wonky in photo. I've edited previous pic to show about how close mine is.

Mine is cut really close, and comes over right about where the inner wheel well sheetmetal meets at the seam. Can't get much closer without getting in to the body.

I cut about 4 inches out. Then took the piece I cut out, traced over a piece of 16ga steel, tack welded it in, used steel stick to fill the cracks, then bedlined over it

That is some significant cutting. I guess that's what it takes for 40's huh?

If you want to actually use them, you have to get a bit aggressive with the cutting. I'll have to get some pics of mine if I can come up for air. This is the best I'm finding on here.
