Plastic Welding - Harbor Freight
That may work but it's not the same as what I used. It was in a tube and was called "plastic bumper repair epoxy"

I looked at the plastic welder before I did mine, but decided on the $5 soldering iron! You are basically just melting the edges back together. The real trick is to cut the leftovers from your bumper cover into thin strips and melt them into the seams to fill in. Also use plastic bumper repair epoxy(got mine at Advance auto) on the inside(back) of the seams for more strength. Mine has held up for 3 years now.

I love the look of your stubby. I had originally bought the end caps for the oem but still thought it was too long. I decided to cut and plastic weld. I posted my process on JK garage - member builds. We came up with 2 different stubbies for the OEM bumper. I like them both.

Quick question, I'm looking to integrate a winch into my bump as you did, do you have a post showing the process? If not can you tell me which winch and mounting you used?

I posted they way I did it on JK garage - member builds, (OEM bumper to stubby). I love doing it and it's holding up great including the bedlining as finish.

Sorry guys for double posting, I thought I was posting to different post...
