Default Please help quickly...

I installed my superlift 2" BB last night and had ordered the shocks to go with it. However, after comparing my shocks with the stock factory shocks..they weren't any more than maybe 1/2 inch longer. They are almost maxxed out just being mounted on the vehicle. I called superlift and they refused to believe the shock was that short. They said their shock should be about 2" longer than the factory. But that wasn't the case. They won't even send me replacements until I send these back...wtf???

Anyone had this problem????

I didn't measure the shock itself, but it's not longer than stock...When mounted on jeep it's 21" from mount to mount. I think it should be 23" total..?

Should be good for about a 2" lift. But CAN be run stock! collapsed length is similar to stock, but has more travel.

Here they are in NITRO for 39.99

Skyjacker SJA-H7049 33.99

Extended Length (in): 28.750 in.
Collapsed Length (in): 16.560 in.

These would be for a MINIMUM 2" lift. Or you could adjust your bumpstops. This would be ideal for a 2.5-3" lift

thanks for the info, but should they have sent me the correct shocks? I mean I paid for shocks to match the lift...isn't that their error. They said they will send me longer one's, but I have to send mine back first. That sucks...

I usually buy lifts without shocks and then do the measurements myself. the ones that come with the kits seem to error on the short side.

my experience is that lift kits generally include shocks that run on the short side.
Thanks for the info, they are gonna send me longer shocks....what a freakin' mess...oh well, so it goes I guess!

Tell them to include a return shipping label when they ship you the correct shocks, and they'll get their mistake back.

Well, they made the comment that everything up to an 06 wrangler fit fine....wouldn't the stock shocks on a wrangler jk be taller since the jk comes with more clearance than a TJ????
