Default I have the BFH, sort of

My bumper is sitting in the garage, painted and ready to bolt on.......however, because I run the EVO Rear Lever suspension setup, the frame cross brace the suspension is bolted to is the same cross brace you need to cut off to run the BFH bumper. I bought the bumper while my JK was at Offroad Evolution having the work done, and I didn't realize this until I got the jeep back in my garage. I think I'm still going to be able to bolt it on, I just will not have it sitting as close to the body as it's supposed to sit. If it looks like ass, I'm putting the bumper on the auction block. (The owner of Poison Spyder Customs actually runs the same suspension setup I have and the BFH bumper, but he did some fabrication mods to make it work, would like to see it in person before I start my trimming of frame material).

For being such a minimalist piece of metal, the BFH is a stout piece and really is a nice looking bumper. Sorry this probably didn't help you much.

That's a nice looking rig. Do you plan on putting your spare tire back on? I like the look of not having the spare tire, but not sure where else to put it. Might need it just in case. How long did it take for the bumpers to come in? I was reading in another thread where it was taking Poison Spider to get there bumpers out to customers.

I really like this rear bumper, and although I'm a bit of a ways away from being ready to buy a rear bumper, the PSC BFH will probably be the choice when the time comes.

I read a thread somewhere about installing one and it got into detail of how much to chop the frame, etc., but that was a month or so ago...does anyone know if the BFH will work with a factory hitch? I just don't recall of there is THAT much frame chopping, or the bottom of the bumper just doesn't allow the clearance...

Thanks to anyone who has the info.
