Superchips running tow tune seems to work for me with all the extra weight on the Jeep

Is a chip programmer as important if you have the six speed manual?


I mean all I can think of to change is my relatively small increase in tire size...

Not listed, but I'm pretty happy with my Diablo Predator.

Not sure they're making the Predator model any longer - they moved onto a new hardware (handheld/dash-mount) platform.

I have a six speed too, I'm using the tuner to fix my speedometer from the switch to 35s, and to hopefully get some hp/torque gains

great question!

i'm torn myself between the Diablo iTune (replaces Predator) and Superchips.

With both (one or the other)

- Can you tune throttle response?
- TPS sensor?
- Various tunes (obvioulsy they both do that)

etc...

anyone here ever run both?
