Obviously everyone's idea of wheeling hard is different. If someones idea is dirt roads and small rocks it makes sense that they might not understand that breaking things are part of the game.

I like as much armor as possible so I have the Edisco skid, Synergy steering and ball joints, control arms skids, Artec armor kit/truss, front to rear Rockhard skids, side armor, and diff covers but I somehow still manage to break things from time to time. I am always easy on the pedal but unfortunately not all the trails have a "good line".

I have followed Invest's build thread and based on that alone I would listen to his recommendations.

Yes everyone's idea of wheelin' hard is different and if that is the type of wheelin' they enjoy, then great, but when I see somebody coming in with the attitude that I wheel harder than you so my opinion is right. I will call them out on it.

I too like armor to protect my investment as much as possible, it also helps lower my CG which is always a good thing on a 2 door.

I'm believe I'm going to get the EVO skid system. Can't beat that price and looks like it covers what I'm looking to protect.

Thanks for post mor3 pictures of these systems. So this system does not give a flate surface to slide on? The exhaust loop, cross over pipe and the cross member are protected?

Here's a better pic I found online. You can get a better idea of what all is covered. You can also see the crossmember skid has a bent lip into the trans skid that would allow whatever you're sliding on to continue sliding over the crossmember. But I think you're right. It doesn't give to the solid flat surface that some of the other skid kits offer. Price was my biggest selling point. I don't see myself getting into too many situations where I'm dragging my jeeps belly however this is my security incase I do haha.

After seeing the pictures you have posted I wish I jumped on the deal they had on black Friday.

Still a pretty fair price for what you get.
