Question for anyone with rock rings
I'm getting my rings powdercoated and was wondering if I could go ahead and get the tires mounted and put the rings on later, or if I'd need them on the wheels when the tires get mounted for balancing purposes?
Particularly anyone running Rugged Ridge wheels because that's what I have.
Thanks!

I have the m/t classic locks (the ones with the fake beadlocks). When I had my MTR w/ Kevlar 35's mounted at goodyear. They made me remove the rings before they would touch them. After they mounted and balanced them I put the rings on at home. I had no problems.
The guy said I would not have a problem and if I did they would rebalance. He was right, year later no problems.
