Interco (Swampers) has the TSL/SX in 35x15.50r15. Not a normal size though, so not many manufacturers will produce it. |
yeah, i didnt think it was a normal size... thanks.
one more question, when a tire company gives the recommended width of the rim for a specific tire, what happens if you dont follow the recommendation? ie: 8" tire on 13.50 wheel... recommended 8.5-11/13.50 |
Some tire shops follow this rule, most do not. It is what it says "recommended", and nothing more. I personally think it is a legal thing for tire manufacturers to say. I am sure there is a little truth behind though; I have seen some way to wide rims use narrow tires, and vice versa. I would play it safe in the end. DO NOT mount a 19.50" wide tire on a 15x7. Common sense will take over if you think about it. Hope this helps.
