Default Quick Question any input greatly appreciated!!!

I have a required a rack and i am going to modify it to fit in the reciever hitch for a little more cargo room like firewood, deer, icechest camping supplies ect....i was wondering what is the maximum width i can go past the 73 inch width of the jeep? It is 84 inches wide does anyone think 5 inches on each side would be illegal????

In CA 102" is maximum width. Just check your local laws and you should be fine. It will be like driving a duallie, though. Leaving all that hanging out both sides you'll REALLY need to pay attention...
