Regarding theft, I keep a small adjustable wrench in the rear storage space, I have my shackles on pretty tight and I loosen then along with airing down

My pins are safety wired with .040 stainless wire to the shackle. Theft requires tools.

I'm familiar with the technique, I have the special aviation plots with the safety wire feed thing...I'm probably missing something, but do you have to cut the wire to undo shackle to attach a strap?

D ring isolators that don't let the ring smack into metal bumper and make noise

to add to what florida904 said they are also used so they dont chip the paint or powder coat. UNLESS you have a poison spyder BFH front bumper because of the angle the dring hits before the isolator does anything. But i had them before the bumper and liked with so i left them on even though they dont do anything
