There's a pack that the isolators come with that go on the inside of the pin I think it's useless but wondering what it's for ill try to find an image

Have you already placed your order?? Tractor Supply has heavy duty 3/4" D-rings in stock for $15. They are black, but that's nothing a little paint can't fix.

 

Do you know what weight load they are rated for?

There are two different gadgets they sell, one goes on the pin to keep the shackle from bouncing around, but mine proved to be worse than useless, they would bind up on the trail when people are waiting for me to hook up the strap to pull someone out!

the other thing goes on the inner part of the shackle to reduce/stop the shackles from rattling metal on metal as you drive down the road etc.

I know the scond one is available from Daystar, not sure about the first...

The black ones from tractor supply are 14500 lb. The silver cast ones are only 9500lb.

 

Ball cock shank washers from home depot are cheaper to stop rattling
