400 for the parts is about right (without lockers), but I do my own installs (then I know it's done right )

CHeck out this site.
The question I have is how you want your rig to ride after the swap? If you want your 2012 on 35s running like a stock rubicon on 410s then you need to go to 456.

A lot of people on here who have an 07-11 dont realize that the gearing for a 2012 is different. While 4.88 and 5.12 are appropriate for an 07-11 on 35s, 456 - 488 are appropriate for an 2012.

If you have more than say 15k miles, I'd suggest the complete overhaul because seals and everything should be done. Oh, I go right to the source "Superior"... I get pretty good deals from them because I buy quite a few at a time but just tell them sob stories like others do and they cut good prices

For a geographical cost comparison.

SOutheastern PA. Regear of 2012 Sahara. I got the parts from Northridge and got estimates from 3 local shops who were willing to work with parts that I supplied.

Shop 1 - Quoted me at 1500 for the work. This was a guy who did lots of 4x4 work and Im sure would do a great job, but didnt work there. He was using the garage and space after hours. Garage owner wanted a cut so that was why it was a big price.
Shop 2 - Quoted me at 400 for the work. Local garage who was very hesitant to use parts I supplied.
Shop 3 - Local garage where I knew a general mechanic who made it clear he could but it wasnt something he did every day. Quoted 900 for the work.

I chose number 3 based on middle of the road cost and knowing the mechanic.

No issues, and it was done in 3 days.
