Default Ride - Shocks or Springs more important?

I have the OME long travel shocks along with the HD springs (618 rear, and 619 front) and I was wondering if I should possibly get different springs. Back when I had the regular travel OME shocks the springs used to create a springy snapping sound when flexing. Now with the long travel shocks and lower adjustable control arms this snapping sound has gone away somewhat but it has returned only when doing extreme flexing of the front axle. Would getting different springs compromise the ride or is it the shocks that make more of a difference in how it absorbs bumps? It rides really nice the way it is set up now.

Here's a video, you have to listen closely and it makes the snapping sound when the passenger side front spring is compressed at 0:18 seconds and 0:25 seconds.

Here's another, you can't hear the spring snapping but gives an idea of how it flexes.

Neither.

What's very important is to have a system that works well with each-other. The combo it what makes it good. That why the best suspension system are usually sold as a kit, they have been design to work with each other. You might want to change your entire suspension system.

On an other hand, are you happy with your choice. The fact that it makes noise doesn't mean there is a problem with it.

Well I'm not sure which is why I'm posting this.

The springs seem to snap or make some sort of sound on full flex and it sometimes appears to not transition smoothly from drooping left to drooping right and vice versa.

I might just be too picky.

Are you sure it's the springs? The springs shouldn't really make any sound and most definitely not snapping. My OME springs didn't make any sound and neither do my Full Traction springs.

Yes, although not as bad as before. Plus it flexes much better than it did before. If it's not the springs then I have no idea what it could be. Maybe whpony96 is right.
