RK 2.5 Max Travel........Bumpstops?

RK 2.5 Max Travel........Bumpstops?
I noticed that lots of people run this lift with bumpstops, but it seems that more people dont use bumpstops with this lift? When does it become time to install the stops?

When I ordered it David at Northridge suggested I get the bumpstops. I am not going to argue with them, they know better than me! 
I'll be installing this weekend if the rain holds off.
