I've have been emailing Chad back and forth and once again he tried to blame me for using the wrong grease. Then he tells me he will send out a new joint but I should go ahead and check all the others. Do you realize how long this will take?!!!! I will have to remove every arm to check that they are assembled correctly. I have already found 4 of the joints not locktited and all of the set screws not torqued down. So now this is my responsibility?!?!? My time is extremely valuable to me and I shouldn't have to do this for an expensive lift kit. You step up RK!

Also not once has he apologized. He just just made the statement that it was only the 7/8" joints that this had happened to in the past.

The installer should have checked all of this. Don't blame RK because of shortsightedness on the installer's part. All of the joints and jam nuts should have been inspected and prepared BEFORE they go on the Jeep.

I was the installer. So how would I have checked the joints? There's no tool provided with the kit.

So if you bought a new engine for your jeep you would re torque all the bolts. Yeah I don't think so.

I asked a question of what grease you were using that way we can take that out of the equation! I asked you to inspect the other joints to make sure they were tight! This is standard trouble shooting procedure to identify the potential source of your problem so we can get you taken care of! At no point was I accusing you of anything. Here is the entire email string with your home and email address deleted ***. The number of 7/8 housings with the burr from machining was very small and an SOP is in place here for anyone that has the issue. Sorry for any issue this may have caused you.

It's a right. So can you send me the sockets so I can check the torque on the other joints?

So what grease did you use?

Reason I asked is I used the wrong stuff and had a joint come apart on the Rubicon, drove it all the way out and 2 hours home that way. Tough as hell joints.

I owned my mistake and didn't whine about it.
